Barrelhouse Ballroom
Barrelhouse Ballroom opened in 2022 inside the original Five Wits Brewing Company building in Chattanooga's Southside, with the brewery still operating one wall over. The thirty-foot stage sits within a couple of feet of the floor on a 500-capacity room, which keeps a mid-size touring stop closer to the proportions of a converted brewery hall than a purpose-built club.

Lookout Mountain, holding the strangeness
On July 4, 2002, several Chattanooga residents reported a glowing, spherical craft threading through the city's Independence Day fireworks, moving by multiple accounts with the kind of speed and agility the burst patterns failed to mask. The National UFO Reporting Center logs Chattanooga among the most-reported cities in Tennessee, and the cluster bends west onto the long ridge of Lookout Mountain: a Civil War lookout, a Cherokee sacred site, and in the modern record a quiet anchor for everything from triangular formations to single luminous orbs.
